3C UNDERWEAR FAQs

How do I wash 3C Underwear? Can I heat Dry 3C Underwear?

You should always wash 3C Underwear in cool or warm water with mild detergents and hang dry. For those that do not follow the washing recommendations, heat drying (dryer) your 3C Underwear will will affect the longevity of the material. Heat drying will weaken the fibers which will create premature wear (holes) and aging.

What is and how do I use the Comfort-Nest feature?

The comfort-nest is just that, a nest for your bird and two eggs to rest in without rubbing against the tree branches. To utilize the comfort-nest and to eliminate jock itch and irritation in the groin area, you should pull the undergarment up so that the comfort-nest is firmly cupping the underside of your scrotum and testicles, cradling the entire package just like a bird sitting on two eggs in a nest. Then adjust the underwear leg bands and waistband for comfort and you're good to go!

Can you explain the Layered Centre Backside feature?

The idea/purpose of the layered centre backside was simply to add more layers of the garment fabric in the butt crack area to handle that little bit of man moisture that some men experience when hot while traveling, golfing, working outdoors etc., as we all have witnessed that sweat streak on outer garments with men at some point (for example the golf clubhouse). This feature also doubles as a no pinch bonus as we all have experienced and witnessed men pulling their underwear out of the crack of their butt. This is not a feature that was designed for those who are incontinent, however, it may help and you are the best judge for that dependant on your own experiences.

Can you explain the cooling Front Venting feature?

The idea/purpose of the front vents was to include a mesh fabric large enough in the front area of the underwear to simply allow and move air/heat out. We all have worn underwear that traps heat and is hot as an oven down there and that's good if you are in Nunavut, but not so much when you are down in the Caribbean.

  What is Jock Itch?

Jock itch (tinea cruris) is a fungal infection that affects the skin of your genitals, inner thighs and buttocks. Jock itch causes an itchy, red, often ring-shaped rash in these warm, moist areas of your body. Jock itch gets its name because it is very common amongst athletes as well as people (men and women) who are overweight and/or sweat a lot.

  What is Sweaty Butt?

Your eccrine glands which are located around your butt, produce a sweat that's odorless. Besides being an icky feeling, sweaty butt can lead to embarrassing problems and situations. Sweaty butt is a common condition in which the ass crack and crotch becomes overly moist and sweaty from sweating on a hot day whether it be a long day of work, sports activities or play causing a wet, unpleasant and itchy feeling.
